Senior Python Developer

We are working with a leading technology company in Dublin that is expanding its software engineering team and looking to hire a talented Senior Python Developer. This role will play a key part in building and scaling next-generation web applications that serve their clients needs on their end customer. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and backend services. You will work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver scalable solutions, while also mentoring junior developers and contributing to long-term architecture planning.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

• Strong expertise in Python and web application frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, FastAPI)

• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services

• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools

• Experience with cloud platforms specifically AWS

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment
